FEED WATER PARAMETERS:
STemperature 85o F maximum SPressure 40 - 80 psi maximum STDS 2000 ppm maximum. If higher, consult factory SIron tolerance 0.5 ppm maximum SHydrogen sulfide must be removed S Silica tolerance can not be higher than 125 ppm in the concentrate stream. Antiscalant should be considered for any levels over 75 ppm. STurbidity should be removed SHardness must be removed. OPERATING PARAMETERS: SOperating pressure 200 psi maximum SWater recovery rates are decided at time of system design. Water chemistry, pre-treatment and membrane array will determine the recovery ratio. Recovery rates are approximately 70-75% (min. 65%, max. 80%) SpH range 3 - 11 SFlow rates are determined by the membrane mfgr’s. testing criteriea of 1500 ppm Nacl solution, 77oF water temperature, 225 psi at 10-15% recovery. Actual flow rates may vary depending on the pre-treatment used, water conditions, system size, membrane array and applied pressure. |
