Gold Series Inline Filter
Hydro-Flow has designed the Gold Series inline water filters to help eliminate problems due to bad tastes, odors, chlorine, and sediment in a variety of residential and commercial applications. They are typically used in Reverse Osmosis, Distillation, Beverage Dispensing and many other water delivery systems, and where sediment problems exist.
Spin Welding
This manufacturing process assures a uniform hermetic seal which improves overall reliability and increases the filter's burst pressure rating. No solvent or solvent-based adhesives are used in the manufacture of any filter.
Molded Threads
Threads for inlet and outlet fittings are molded into the filter housing, providing a seal many more times leak resistant than mechanically tapped threads.
Tapered Starter Threads
A tapered starter thread assures quick and reliable fitting insertion.
Sonic welded filtration pads
Inlet and outlet filtration pads are sonically perimeter welded to prevent fine sediment and carbon bypass.
GS
GS type filters are designed for use as post-filters, for reducing tastes, odors, and chlorine.
RO
RO type filters are designed to be used as post-filters for RO and many other filtration applications.
EXTRA
The EXTRA type long life filters use a multilayered media bed and are perfect for effective chlorine reduction in high capacity filtering situations.
ALS
All ALS type filters include hexametaphosphate which inhibits lime/scale buildup in heating tanks and on heating elements (e.g., automatic coffee brewing, ice machines, espresso equipment).
PH
PH type filters should be used in extremely heavy lime/scale buildup situations. Using hexametaphosphate media only, they will significantly reduce buildup related service problems.
PLUS
PLUS type filters are designed to be used as pre-filters for membranes sensitive to chlorine.
SED
Excellent for removing dirt, rust, and sand, the SED type filters have an internal spun polypropylene filtration element for long life. It prevent blockage of valves and small openings by capturing small sediment (e.g., dirt,rust, and sand) before it enters costly equipment.
AS
Designed for use as pre-filters for many types of beverage, water and ice dispensing equipment, the AS type filters are excellent for elimanating taste, odor, and chlorine problems.
